I grew up surrounded by Traditional Chinese Medicine. My father, Moshe Heller, is a licensed acupuncturist with over 30 years of experience, and together we run Moshen Herbs, a family business creating high-quality Chinese herbal formulas. This deep immersion in holistic healing shaped how I see the body: as wise, capable, and deserving of gentle support rather than intervention.
When I began training as a doula, everything clicked. Birth and postpartum care are spaces where trusting the body's natural processes matters most. They're also times when people need to be witnessed, nurtured, and reminded of their own strength.
I believe your body knows what it's doing. My role isn't to fix you or tell you what's best. It's to support you in trusting yourself, offer evidence-based information when you need it, and hold space for whatever your postpartum experience brings.
As a queer, polyamorous person, I'm deeply committed to creating affirming spaces for all families, especially those in my community. I understand that family structures are diverse and beautiful, and I approach every client with openness and respect for who they are and how they've built their family.
I combine:
Training in birth and postpartum doula care
Knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal support
Lactation education and hands-on feeding support
Fluency in Hebrew and basic German
A genuine belief that there's no "right way" to do this, only your way
Postpartum care in our culture is broken. We expect new parents to bounce back, know everything instinctively, and do it all alone. That's not how we are meant to do this.
You deserve rest. You deserve nourishment. You deserve someone who shows up without judgment and says, "However you're feeling is okay. Let me help."
That's what I offer.
